“This certification demonstrates that we are fully compliant when it comes to cyber security. Our suppliers and clients rely on us to provide secure infrastructure and have good processes and procedures to protect their data and ours too. With an increasing reliance on using online software and a variety of programmes for day to day business, it is important to minimise any online security threats. We are always looking for ways to further improve how we manage cyber security, for the companies we work with, this certification provides additional peace of mind.” Paul Waldron – MD
What is Cyber Essentials?
Cyber Essentials is a government-backed scheme launched to help organisations protect themselves and their customers against common cyber-attacks. It is recognised by many of the UK’s leading business organisations including the CBI and FSB, but also by MOD and other government agencies.
Businesses and organisations that achieve the Cyber Essentials mark are minimising risks against the two common types of cyber-attack: phishing, which is malware infection generated by users clicking on malicious email attachments or website links, and hacking, whereby criminals exploit known vulnerabilities in internet connected servers and devices using widely available tools and techniques.
